![]() ![]() Unfortunately, Floyd reached this conclusion only after the 95th Rifle Company killed the only known Emperor Sandworm (though Floyd said before they engaged it that he wanted it captured, not killed), leaving the mysterious sandworm species even more mysterious than it was before. In a series of missions starting with Perkins' Special Assignment, Perkins accidentally ingests a sandworm parasite. This often causes madness or death, and the long-term effect on Perkins is still unknown. In Raider culture, the parasite is known as The Sacred Passenger, and brave warriors sometimes seek to prove their strength by ritually consuming it. ![]() Originally posted by Durgine:I honestly didn't mean to ignore Blackguards, I really like that game and waiting for the devs to fix the achievements before another playthrough.Crazy Blades is said to have undergone this trial. I couldn't find a good way to organize my list, as it becomes a mix of roguelike, party grid, army grid, 4X, etc. The list I keep is actually more encompasing and I just pasted a few based on the OPs comments. ![]() ![]() I honestly didn't mean to ignore Blackguards, I really like that game and waiting for the devs to fix the achievements before another playthrough. Eventually I just didn't understood and didn't played it long enough to find a strategic layer. I couldn't find why do this or that and build any strategy beside basic developing in the way I want. I couldn't understand this layer and what strategic depth it had, it looked to me more like a management game taking busy a player. The writing is average but the problem I had with the game is to not understand nor get interested by the supposed strategic layer. But it's EA and the mouse cursor disappearing makes it heavy to play currently, found it very good any way but the cursor problem still not fixed pollute the fun except if you like play with keyboard only, and another Early Access.ĮDIT: About Omerta City of Gangsters, I also tried it some time ago, not few after release so a version supposed to be already improved but perhaps not as much than current state of the game. I also played Steam Marines but it's one more Early Access, it's a Roguelike but it's with a Team of 4 which is rather rare in this game genre. Right now I'm trying replay Expeditions: Conquistador that I didn't finished it at my first attempt one year ago. I didn't played much Winter Voices and should retry it, played more Avadon 2 but switched to something else and now need replay it from start because I forgot too much the story and context. My first quarter was quite good and thankfully sorted in a a more or less increasing fun: The Banner Saga, Eschalon Book 3, Blackguards, Shadowrun Dragonfall. Temple of Elemental Evil (have to get it from GOG or similar, and install Circle of Eight mod pack to update)Įschalon Book series (no link with Spiderweb dev)Īvadon, Avernum, Geneforge, Nethergate series If I remove Early Access, for most it would be a waste of fun to play them before release then it's just: And I don't think many players would agree that Arcanum combats are good. Interesting list but there's plenty Early Access and I wonder why you ignore Blackguards. To name a few that might peak you're interest.
